History of Dubeczno - The history of the village probably dates back to the 16th century.Initially the owner of the grange was the Hański family.In 1531., as a result of marital colligations, the estate came into the possession of Nicholas Rej.In the 17th century. Dubechno belonged to the Kunicki family, from the 19th century. - Okęcki and the assimilated Jewish family of Yermulovich (Yarmolovich). In 1894. The indebted estate was purchased at auction by a Jewish entrepreneur - Rafal (Rafael) Herszkowicz Szuldberg, who also owned part of the Ruda (Ruda Huta) estate. After Rafal's death, his son Joseph (Josek) became the owner of the estate.In 1900. The lands of the Dubeczno manor were parceled out to German settlers. In 1921. Dubecin, which consisted of a village and a factory and trading settlement of the same name, was home to 672 Catholics, 400 Jews, 357 Evangelicals, 19 Baptists and ten Orthodox Christians.
