Primarily served as the Dining hall of the Prytaneis, the executives of the boule of the city, the Tholos housed the official weights and measures of the Athenian state.
Return to the point where you first entered the temple grounds. With the corner of the temple in front of you, turn to your right and walk along its long side. At the next corner, turn right. Continue straight down the path without taking any detours. After descending the last steps, look to your left for a circular structure—the Tholos. Stand in front of it and listen to the next set of stories.
