The Exhibits of the Byzantine Museum

It is the only museum of the Cyclades that is dedicated to Byzantine art. Its exhibits come from the significant Byzantine monuments of the island and are representative works of the periods between the 7th and 12th centuries, most impressive being the dome of the church of Panagia Protothroni Chalki. It is worth visiting the balcony of the Byzantine Museum to enjoy the unobstructed view of the endless blue of the Aegean Sea.
